Otan, better known by Northan (his actual name is Omar Izqian), is a third year engineering student. Alongside two of his friends, he actively runs a small business selling dim sum.

Appearance

Otan has a deep brown straight hair that he keeps long (shoulder-length) with a mole near his mouth. His eyes are amber-colored. Otan has sleeper build body and usually wears whatever he saw first inside his wardrobe but still somehow manages to appear good looking.

Personality

Otan is actually pretty outgoing. He knows a lot of people, when he walks around there will always someone he’s familiar with and stops by to greet them. Though, they’re all merely acquaintances, he’s not particularly close to any of them. Otan doesn’t come across as ambitious or a person with big goals, but he works really hard, too hard in discreet. Thus, when he fails, it really gets to him, he’d spend a whole week every night to curse himself and let his frustration take control. He gets attached to people easily if his guard is down. Therefore, he keeps most of his relationships at surface level, because emotional attachment is a distraction for him.

Otan has excellent survival instincts and can adapt to almost any environment with ease. Academically, he’s an average, but still manages to pass all his grades. When he’s flustered, he’ll quietly face the corner of a wall and stay there for some moments to ground himself and regain his composure.

• Fauzi/Oji: his ‘close friend’ since junior high school, eventually went to be strangers again right before college started.
• Prastiwi/Tiwi: a ‘friend’ he knows since first year, got close and had romantic feelings for each others but remains a situationship.
• Nathanael/Nael: a friend who always tags along with him in college, good friend of Otan. He helped him survive his college life.
• Jundi/Junet: a good friend of his, usually tags along with Nael and Otan since second year. The three of them has a small business together.
• Huza: his little brother who’s still in elementary school

Trivia

• Otan used to be active in non-academic competition back in junior highschool.
• Otan has a motorcycle but never used it since the second half of his first year in college (it broke severely but he still keeps it).
• Otan keeps his hair long because he thinks he looks better with it. He would put a cap on if he had no choice but to cut his hair short.
